SAHRR 2024, Round 1

on January 25, 2024

The quilt block given to us by Wendy @ Pieceful Thoughts for My Quilting Life this first week was the Signature Block. It’s an old fashioned block, simple to make and easy to modify. The first time I made Signature Blocks was with SAHRR 2022 on my Red, White and Blue quilt.

Signature Blocks 2022

This year’s Sloth Quilt has mostly greens. Here are some of the Signature Blocks, each with two green fabrics, mostly in the medium value range. I made the signature space narrower than the blocks in the RW&B quilt.

Green Signature Blocks to make a leafy surround for the Sloth.

I’m still working on the last section along the bottom of the center block and still shopping for more greens and maybe some lavenders. The quilt may be close to twin size, so my stash needs some help with these two colors.

Linking up with Wendy with special thanks for this week’s Signature Block.

Blessings,

Janie @ Isabella’s Whimsy
