A finished UFO from spring 2013. This wall hanging is my first free motion quilting project. If I remember correctly, it is the Bethlehem Star or possibly a Carpenter’s Star.
It’s about 28″ square.
Here is the link to the original post about this project. If you read it you will see why I was confused about the name…hmmm.
Anyway, here’s to a completed project from the past!
Just a quick note to let you know that I have added two new pages to Isabella’s Whimsy on WordPress (in other words, here).
I have put together a Gallery of some of my quilts and quilted projects.
And, I have added a Contact page.
Thanks for stopping by!
Here’s a quick peek at the Jungle Quilt for my friend’s grandbaby, well a peek at some of the pieces.
I’m using fusible interfacing for this applique project. This method makes very lightweight pieces that retain the fabric’s flexibility, and it gives a clean finished edge to each piece. And, it’s fun!
Have a blessed day,
I guess all my paddling upstream caught up with me. My sister, Dori, suggested, “Why don’t you make one of your Row patterns for a break?”
So, I did. I finished up the 2015 Row by Row Experience kit from the Quilt Haus in New Braunfels, TX. I had started it while visiting this sister last summer, so today was the day to finish it.
The lighting isn’t so great, but you get the idea:
Refreshing! A river in Comal County.
